THE ISSUES

What’s on the ballot?

How does it affect doing business in Palo Alto?

QUARRY TRANSITWAY CONNECTION PROJECT

The Chamber has spoken in favor of approving a ballot measure this November for the Quarry Transitway Connection Project. This project emphasizes the improvement of transportation, and we believe it will not only improve transit access for Caltrain and bus commuters, but will also improve bicycle and pedestrian access for those crossing El Camino Real.

Our local businesses depend on a solid public transportation system to get employees from their homes to the jobsite and these improvements will create a safer experience and provide better connectivity for Palo Alto workers, especially at nearby medical facilities, the shopping center, Stanford University, and those working in restaurants and shops on University Avenue.
