Events Committee

The Chamber Events Committee is made up of members who enjoy planning and putting on events and programs of interest to Chamber members. The committee works under the guidance of the Chamber Events Director to map out and budget events for the year, and then put them on.

 

Events Committee Job Description:

  • Provide a minimum one-year commitment to the Events Committee
  • Plan events and set goals for successful attendance and financial outcomes
  • Volunteer time and talent in putting on the events
  • Help with solicitation of donations for events and drawings
  • Attend Chamber functions as often as possible
  • Maintain assessments of events’ success and/or value to members which are reviewed at monthly committee meetings
  • Attend monthly Events committee meetings at the Chamber
