“As each needle is important to the form of the redwood tree, each citizen helps shape the community.”
These words are inscribed on the Tall Tree Awards presented annually by the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce and the Palo Alto Weekly to an outstanding citizen, professional, business and non-profit. Started in 1980, the Tall Tree Awards honor those who have contributed significantly to the betterment of our community, often quietly, steadily and unheralded.
