SCORE
Counselors to America’s Small Business
Staffed by retired or working business owners and executives that have many years of experience with some of the issues small business owners face, SCORE accepts weekly hour-long appointments at the Palo Alto Chamber. SCORE counselors are professionals, and their service is FREE!
SCORE counselors provide general advice, from how to write a business plan to cash flow management and how to expand your existing business. Assistance is provided via face-to-face counseling at the Chamber office, or via on-line counseling and workshops.
SCORE counselors bring to the table real-world business experience in specific industry and general business areas. They are both working and retired business owners, executives and managers. All SCORE volunteers receive specialized training offered by the association.

RIBBON CUTTINGS
Chamber members opening new businesses or reopening a remodeled one are invited to schedule a Ribbon Cutting. The Chamber will bring the ribbon, the scissors and the Mayor to celebrate Chamber members’ business endeavors.
